For quite a while I have wanted to start writing. Many reasons have brought me to finally do it but one main reason is that I am losing my memory to beer rapidly. (Sorry Mum). Jokes aside, I don’t want to forget the small details and that is why I have taken to writing them down.
I also want to look back at this in years to come and remind myself about the golden years in Cambodia and what a ridiculously spontaneous time I had. I also want my friends and family to be able to come and read this.
Getting started…
I get the urge to write as soon as I step into an airport. Weird, hey but there is something about an airport that makes me feel like I could sell a top-selling book, instead I’m using a free website to write a blog lol ( same-same but different). During my most recent trip to Bali, the urge came back to write and I looked for a notebook to buy at the airport for an hour, but all I found was Mcdonald’s and a 99p cheeseburger, guilty!!
A few rules before you read this blog
- No judging my decisions, open up that mind of yours, and give me a break if you start to think what the hell is she doing.
- Laugh with me, not at me. Remember I try out things and make certain decisions for you so you don’t have to. Learn from my bad choices.
